David Balzan
Coder. Builder. Maker of things that last.
For 25+ years I've been designing and shipping software — from scrappy startup MVPs to large-scale enterprise systems across many different industries. I've learned what works, what breaks quietly, and what actually helps teams move faster without losing their souls.
These days I'm mostly exploring how AI agents can make the day-to-day of engineering feel less like fighting tools and more like flow. I build personal systems and small tools that help high-performing teams stay focused on real work instead of process theater. I write occasionally about the patterns I've found useful and where I think the craft is heading.
Currently
Quietly experimenting with agentic workflows, self-evolving systems, and reflecting on the future of our craft, and any other craft eventually.
If you're curious about any of that, feel free to say hello.
